10. Arkansas Razorbacks

Record: 3-3 (0-2)

Previous Ranking: 10

Last Week: Florida 30, Arkansas 10

This Week: vs. #14 South Carolina

Next Week: at Alabama

To some degree, Arkansas should be impressed with their 275 total yards of offense against Florida considering the Gators are allowing only 217 yards per game. Small victories, yes?

Things are not going to get any easier for Arkansas with South Carolina coming to town and a trip to Alabama scheduled next week. But there are some encouraging things on the horizon for the Razorbacks in terms of getting back to where they were before that fateful motorcycle accident.

For starters, South Carolina is a beatable team for Arkansas at home. The Razorbacks have a ground game that can limit South Carolina’s possessions and keep it close in the fourth quarter. Take care of the ball and extend some drives and Arkansas can win this thing, especially if Jadeveon Clowney misses another game.

While the USC game is starting to open up as a potential win, the Ole Miss game is starting to look more winnable, too. Mississippi has lost a lot of its mojo in the running game, and lost to Auburn last weekend. It is tough that this game is going to be played on the road, but this game is more in play than it was two weeks ago when Ole Miss looked like a potential spoiler in the SEC.
