Arkansas was dealt a tough loss over the weekend to Rutgers, blowing a fourth quarter lead by allowing two touchdown passes in a span of five minutes.
The loss is a killer for Arkansas’ bowl hopes as six of their last eight games are against ranked teams. It certainly not impossible for them to pull off a bowl game, but beating one of Texas A&M, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Ole Miss or LSU is not going to be easy.
On the other hand, asking for one upset out of six tries may not be too much to ask for a team that is both talented and well coached. The Florida game could be a potential win with the injury to Jeff Driskel, and Ole Miss could get caught napping.
For now, however, Arkansas looks to be on the outside looking in.
