Record: 3-1 (1-1)
Previous Ranking: (Trend: — )
Last Week: LSU 35, Auburn 21
This Week: Bye
Next Week: vs. Ole Miss
Auburn put up a strong effort in the second half against LSU, even though it was clear LSU wasn’t trying too hard for the last 30 minutes. There is no shame in losing to LSU on the road at this stage of the game for Auburn.
What matters for Auburn right now is playing tough against the LSU’s of the world – as they did Saturday – and trying to win games against Arkansas and Tennessee. Get those two games and the Western Carolina games and Auburn. That should be the goal and focus for Auburn at this point.
In the meantime, Auburn will see what they can do to catch Ole Miss off-guard next week.
