Next Week: at Baylor

The weather was awful, but… oh, man.

West Virginia was shutout by Maryland and looked worse than what the score would indicate. Six turnovers, 175 total yards of offense (62 passing), seven penalties, and 2-for-12 on third downs. It was bad. Very, very bad. And now the Mountaineers embark on a schedule that looks very similar to Iowa State’s.

Oklahoma State, at Baylor, Texas Tech, at Kansas State, at TCU, Texas. WVU’s next winnable game isn’t until mid-November when they travel to Kansas to face the Jayhawks. This is going to be a very long second season in the Big 12 for the Mountaineers if they do not get the kinks worked out of the offense very soon.
