The national vibe around the Gators football program is not a positive one, even though they could easily be 4-1 heading into their trip to LSU.
Most of the issue is centered around Jeff Driskel, whose quarterbacking has not been the stuff of legend. His two picks in the Gators loss to Miami were killers. Miami created a very clear blueprint for how to beat Florida: force them to pass. The more decision Driskel has to make, the worse for Florida.
The question now is what teams have the best chance of doing that? LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida State are certainly on the list. But could a team like Vanderbilt or Missouri also be able to deploy the Miami strategy, too?
Pressure is on Driskel to make sure that doesn’t happen.
