Next Week: Bye
This is going to be a huge four-week stretch for the Wildcats and their hopes of having another double-digit wins season.
At Texas, bye, at Oklahoma State, home to Baylor.
Win two of those game and things begin to line up a bit more favorable for K-State.
There are two questions the Wildcats are going to have to solve if they want to pull this off: Who is their primary quarterback and how quickly can the front seven of the K-State defense improve?
The answer to the first question clearly has to be Daniel Sams, who has been dynamic for the Wildcats when he has been on the field. Sams opens up the field for K-State’s offense, and fits into the scheme of what has made the Wildcats so good for the last two years.
Sams may also be the the defense’s savior as running the ball will help in limiting possessions and eating time off the clock.
We’ll get an idea of how Snyder plans to attack the conference season by how he approaches the Texas game this Saturday.
