Oklahoma State has done nothing to be removed from their top spot in the power rankings, but it will be interesting to see how J.W. Walsh handles the Big 12 season. Walsh was not quite as effective in the season opener against Mississippi State, and he’s not going to be able to run circles around most of the Big 12’s defense.

“Most” because, you know, Texas.

If Walsh translates his game well to the Big 12 then the only thing standing in the way of the Cowboys and a conference title are home dates against Baylor and Oklahoma to end the season.
