Force Jeff Driskel to win the game and you’ll have Florida beat. Of course, that is an easier said thing than done, but Miami proved it was possible.
Driskel’s numbers on the surface don’t look too bad as he completed 67% of 33 passes and threw for 291 yards. The issue comes with his decision-making as he threw two terrible interceptions and fumbled once. The turnovers and the inability to locate receivers downfield killed the Gators, and things won’t get easier when they have to play Georgia, South Carolina, LSU, and Florida State.
Florida has a lot of stuff to figure out on offense if they want to turn around the current prospects of the 2013 season, which are quickly dimming. It is a good thing they have a bye week to work things out.
