Texas fired their defensive coordinator after a disastrous loss against BYU over the past weekend. The continued problems for the Longhorns defense means finding improvement in Big 12 play is going to be hard.
Mack Brown is clearly feeling the heat coming from the slow start, and if things don’t turn around quickly against Ole Miss then he may not even make it out of September. How crazy would that be – a former national title winner getting fired?
Add this into Oklahoma State’s recruiting scandal in which Sports Illustrated suggest OSU paid players and used sex to recruit players, and it has been a banner week for the Big 12.
Oh, and Kansas won a football game.
