Fantasy Football: Week One Fantasy Heroes
By Joel Wagler
ELI MANNING, QUARTERBACK, NEW YORK GIANTS
The younger Manning but up almost identical statistics to his brother’s phenomenal night. Eli Manning also went 27 for 42 (64.3%) and had just 12 fewer yards – 450. The one stat where Eli could not match Peyton was touchdowns. Eli was only able to throw 4 (only!) touchdowns on the night, but he also threw 3 interceptions. Those last two numbers were a gigantic difference in the two bothers’ performances. One is 1-0, the other 0-1. For fantasy owners, both were huge.
