2. Georgia Bulldogs

Last Season: 12-2 (7-1)

Key Addition: Tray Matthews

Key Word: Championship

Outlook:

Georgia has lost the last two SEC championship games to Alabama and LSU, and are hoping a third trip will be the charm.

The Bulldogs are rebuilding their defense, but return one of the better offensive units in the SEC. Most important is quarterback Aaron Murray, who may have the best chance to steal the number one overall pick spot from Jadeveon Clowney. Georgia also returns their entire starting offensive line.

If there is going to be an issue for the Bulldogs, it is going to happen early. Three of their first four opponents this season are ranked in the top 12: #8 Clemson (Aug. 31), #6 South Carolina (Sept. 7), #12 LSU (Sept. 28). A loss, especially to South Carolina, could immediately kill any hopes they have of winning the SEC title, let alone the national championship.
