Fantasy Football: The Top 10 Running Backs You Should Target

Outside of Jamaal Charles, Chris Johnson is the most explosive back on the board. If you accept him as a guy who will rack up 1,200 rushing yards, and you are not counting on him to get you 2,000 rushing, you won’t be disappointed. Johnson is still young at 27 but does have a lot of carries on his slender frame. There has been a noticeable lack of touchdowns over the past two seasons, which is a main reason he has slipped to 9th. He still is productive in the passing game as well. Again, if you get deep in the second round, there are a lot of running backs less proven and less dependable than Johnson. Know what you are getting (1,200 yards), and be happy he was still available.
