Fantasy Football: The Top 10 Quarterbacks You Should Target

6) Matt Ryan, Atlanta. Ryan is another quarterback that will probably fall to the second or third round and perform pretty close to those options toward the top. He has averaged over 4,400 passing yards over the past two seasons, plus he has thrown 63 touchdowns in 2011 and 2102 combined. If your league deducts for interceptions, Ryan is great on that front as well, only throwing 23 interceptions in the past two seasons. He has a trio of reliable targets in Julio Jones, Roddy White, and the ageless Tony Gonzalez, who is still a beast in the red zone. Atlanta’s ground game isn’t the most consistent in the league but it is good enough to relieve some of the pressure off the quarterback. I love Ryan’s consistency and he will probably still be available if you are picking in the middle or late part of the second round. Grab him him if he is available; he is probably the last of what I would term as the elite fantasy quarterbacks.
