4) Peyton Manning, Denver. It gets a little trickier now. Peyton grabbed this spot because I think he has a better assortment of targets than some of the guys below him on the list, which help offset the injury risk a bit. Wes Welker, Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas, and Joel Dreessen provide Manning with four very strong targets. Again, like the top 3, Manning has an untested group of running backs, so the chances are high he will be airing it out a lot. Manning’s line is much better as well. He was only sacked 21 times last season so this is a big plus in his favor. There is certainly an injury risk with Manning and I wouldn’t take him in the first half of the first round, but is he is still available in last half of that first round, or early in the second, and none of the running backs thrill you, you may want to take the chance with Peyton Manning.
