Week 15 of the 2014 NFL season is here, and that means it is time to take a look at those fantasy football lineups. As you know by now, this is my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em article where I try to help you make some tough lineup decisions, whether that means starting a players that normally doesn’t start for your team, or benching a player that is normally in your starting lineup.

These are the weeks that are the biggest of the fantasy football calendar, as some leagues are starting their playoffs, some are nearing their playoffs, and some are even in their championship game this week. So this week is one where you can’t get it wrong with your lineups.

Here are my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em picks from LAST week (some people in an earlier week’s article commented and told me that I was suggesting to start players that were on their bye week. This is obviously untrue. This first page of my article is simply going over my picks from last weeks article and analyzing how I did with my picks. To get to Week 15’s start/sit picks just go to the next slide of the article).

Last Week’s Start ‘Em

WR. New Orleans Saints. Kenny Stills. 5. player. 15.

Yikes, Kenny Stills and the entire Saints offense struggled against the Carolina Panthers in Week 14. Stills, along with other top fantasy options on the Saints Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, and Mark Ingram all struggled mightily as the Saints got destroyed. This was a rough game for me to watch as I started Stills in one league, and Graham in another, so I feel your pain here (Graham may have cost me the playoffs).

46. . RB. Indianapolis Colts. Trent Richardson. 4. player

Well darn, I am not doing well so far. Richardson was very bad in terms of fantasy production last week and ended with just 3 points. It seems as if the Colts prefer Dan Herron over Richardson as their workhorse. Avoid Trent for the rest of this fantasy season.

50. . QB. Detroit Lions. Matthew Stafford. 3. player

Thank God I got one right. Stafford went bonkers in last week’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and ended with 30 fantasy points (6-point passing TD leagues). He had a great outing that may have just extended your playoff run, or maybe got you into the playoffs depending on your league.

Last Week’s Sit ‘Em

WR. Philadelphia Eagles. Jeremy Maclin. 2. player. 54.

Maclin struggled as I predicted to get much production against the Seahawks, but did find his way into the endzone and thus made his outing decent overall. He ended with 8 fantasy points in standard leagues, so he wasn’t the best play, and you could have probably found more from others on your roster.

player. 52. . RB. Jacksonville Jaguars. Denard Robinson. 1

Robinson struggled, again. He has now been placed on season-ending IR with a foot injury, so that may have contributed to his poor play. Over the last 3 or 4 weeks, he was just as bad as he was good the four weeks before this bad stretch. He can now be dropped in all leagues.
