The NFL draft is only a few months away and the Kansas City Chiefs will be on the clock before we know it. Mock drafts are popping up all over the internet, and It’s time for KCKingdom to give you a Kansas City Chiefs mock draft for 2014.

I will be taking you through all six of the Chiefs picks using Fanspeak.com’s awesome mock draft simulator. The simulator combines prospect rankings with each teams needs in order to determine what position they will draft in each round.

I’ve done three simulations, only to test how much change actually occurs from draft-to-draft. In all three of mine, the same couple of players the Chiefs will likely be targeting in the first round were usually there at number 23.

I drafted based on the Chiefs needs on both sides of the ball and best player available. After were done going through the list, I’ll give you a link to the simulator and you can do a quick mock draft of your own. I highly recommend it for those of you who are draft junkies.

That’s a great mock I like all the picks. You should do one with Pryor in round one and see which reciever is there in round four since it is such a deep class, that might just get us everything we can get out of the draft value wise. GO MIZZOU!

The only thing I don’t agree with on the mock Is the last wr in a class this deep at wr we may be able to pick him up as a udfa I would rather see us pick up Brandon Linder or micheal schofield with our last pick but that’s just personal preference because we may also be able to get them as an udfa

    Great article!

I’m coming around on the Chiefs taking a wide receiver in the first round. Shame Sammy Watkins won’t make it to pick 23 though.

One of my favorite players in the draft is CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste out of Nebraska. I have played around with the mock a lot and he falls to the Chiefs occasionally in that 3rd round slot. Out of curiosity do you knlw where he went in yours?

    Great mock!
