The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off one of the best turnarounds in NFL history, and a lot of the credit is going to the 8 Pro-Bowl players on the roster and rightfully so. It would be easy to make a top ten player list for the Chiefs, ending with the obvious selection of Jamaal Charles at number one.

The objective of this top ten list is to shed some light on those players who weren’t always talked about. The guys who contributed all season long in big ways, but were often over looked because of the other players’ production. The fact there is even an idea for a top ten, other than the obvious choices, speaks volumes about how much talent was on the Chiefs roster this season.

The list will be broken up into two different parts, starting with numbers 10 through 6 and ending with 5 through 1 later this week. With all this said, here are your not so obvious, top ten Chiefs of 2013. Click next to start the list.

Great first half read, these kids are the road warriors of the team, lesser salaries, fill in gaps, short careers but play beside the stars and make the team complete. For all the glamour of the stars, what would we have without this type player.

We really need to resign Schwartz not only was he great when he played but he and his dog Olso Peperoni are two of my favorite twitter follows.
