Rashee Rice reportedly retained legal counsel in the latest update on the saga regarding his potential involvement in a six-vehicle crash in Dallas, Texas on Saturday evening. A release on the incident is expected on Monday, though there are more questions than answers at this point.

A Corvette registered to Rice was reportedly racing a Lamborghini when the accident occured, injuring four people.

The drivers and passengers in those two vehicles allegedly fled the scene and police have reportedly been searching for Rice following the incident.

Not much information is available publicly. A potential release would presumably provide more insight, as the Chiefs have made no official comment on the situation thus far.

Rice was a rising star for Kansas City, breaking out over the course of the season after being selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. It's unclear if he was involved at the scene of the accident, though we do know that one of the vehicles involved belong to the former SMU receiver.

We do not yet know if he has communicated with the police and will likely find out more information on Monday.

This is a developing story and we'll keep you updated with the latest news as it becomes available.
