Kansas City Cheifs fans haven't had too much time to celebrate the Super Bowl victory due to the 2024 NFL Draft being right around the corner. The Chiefs currently hold six picks heading into this year's draft, including the 32nd overall selection in Round 1.

A lot of attention has been on who the Chiefs will draft at No. 32, but their other selections could also yield NFL-ready talent. After all, let's not forget that Kansas City used second-round picks to draft the likes of Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Willie Gay Jr., and Rashee Rice since 2016.

With plenty of players worth adding on Day 2, here are three targets for the Chiefs to select 64th overall at the 2024 NFL Draft.

1. WR Malachi Corley, Western Kentucky

Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback on the planet, but you can argue that the Chiefs haven't exactly surrounded him with competent weapons. While Rice and tight end Travis Kelce nearly hit the 1,000-yard mark in 2023, the rest of Kansas City's pass-catchers tallied 460 or fewer receiving yards.

In other words, it'd be in the Chiefs' best interest to target Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley in Round 2 of the draft.

Standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 210 pounds, Corley has been a stud playmaker for the Hilltoppers. The Orange City, FL native was the CUSA's best receiver in 2022, leading the conference in receptions (101), receiving yards (1,295), and receiving TDs (11), Although he didn't quite reach those heights in 2023, he still managed to put up a 79-984-11 stat line across 12 games en route to first-team All-CUSA honors.

What's even more impressive is where the 21-year-old stands in conference history. Corley ranks 14th in total receptions (259), 21st in receiving yards (3,035), and 15th in receiving TDs (29) in the CUSA dating back to the 1996 campaign.

Corley is a strong receiver who almost looks like a running back with the ball in his hands. He's also a solid blocker who knows where to be at the right time, making him someone who'd give the Chiefs offense a solid boost.

2. DT Kris Jenkins, Michigan

The Chiefs are in danger of losing some key defensive line pieces this offseason. Defensive tackle Chris Jones and defensive end Michael Danna are both pending free agents at the moment. Although one (or both) could eventually return, it's never a bad idea to add more D-line depth.

With that in mind, it's a no-brainer for the Chiefs to look at Michigan DT Kris Jenkins.

The Chiefs were the NFL's biggest winners during the 2023 season, so why not add a player who already knows how to win? After all, Jenkins was an integral part of the Wolverines' 2024 National Championship run, meaning he has the type of experience that'd make him fit into Kansas City like a glove.

Jenkins was solid for Michigan throughout the 2023 campaign. The 22-year-old racked up 17 solo tackles and 2.5 sacks across 15 games, even recording his first-ever interception and fumble recovery. He also recorded a pair of tackles against Washington at the CFP National Championship before earning second-team All-American and All-Big Ten honors.

At 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds, Jenkins would add a lot of size to Kansas City's frontline. He's got great hands that help him get by blockers to help stop the run, which would be an asset given that the Chiefs surrendered 15th-most rushing yards and ninth-most yards per carry last season.

Even if the Chiefs retain the likes of Jones and Danna, could you imagine how dangerous the defense would be with Jenkins in the mix, too? I'm loving it already.

3. LT Kiran Amegadjie, Yale

With Donovan Smith also hitting free agency this spring, the Chiefs must think about their starting left tackle spot. Wanya Morris — drafted 92nd overall in 2023 — is currently the top Smith replacement after starting in four of his 14 appearances as a rookie, however, Kansas City could also draft someone to provide Morris with some competition.

If that's the case, look no further than Yale LT Kiran Amegadjie.

Amegadjie is the perfect addition to help protect Mahomes for the foreseeable future. He has great size (6-foot-5, 218 pounds) and terrific reach to help ensure any quarterback behind him is safe. He also boasts speedy footwork and knows how to knock defenders off balance, making him one of the more fun offensive linemen to watch.

Amegadjie only played four games last season due to a torn quad, but he's expected to make a full recovery. He still made the most of his limited playing time, only allowing five QB hurries across 128 pass-block downs. It was also the second season in a row where he didn't allow a single sack, leaving him with just one sack allowed across 860 passing downs since the beginning of the 2021 college football season, per Pro Football Focus.

The Chiefs love their athletic LTs and Amegadjie certainly fits the bill. If the Yale blocker can prove that his quad injury is nothing more than a mere memory, Kansas City might have a new O-line mainstay on its hands.
