3. What are we doing in short yardage?

Andy Reid’s disdain for quarterback sneaks has been a hot topic in Kansas City this week after another disastrous failed third-and-short play.

For some reason, the Chiefs feel incapable of running a normal play to get a couple of yards. There’s always trickery involved and it rarely works in our favor.

It’s infuriating to watch given we have the best football player on Earth, but hopefully, the offense gets an opportunity to pick up first downs with better play calls.

Jacksonville is an excellent team, so we can’t afford to give the ball away by getting too cute when we only need a yard.

Isiah Pacheco should be closer to game speed which helps, and if Kelce can play I’ll feel good about the offense’s chances. Regardless, I’ll be scared about Blake Bell’s involvement every time we see a third-and-short.
