2. Jerick McKinnon

I liked McKinnon’s OVER 23.5 receiving yards at DraftKings, so I especially like the over 20.5 yards still listed at PointsBet. Not only that, but I like his odds to score a touchdown at +180 as well.

After the way McKinnon closed last season as one of Patrick Mahomes’ most dependable receivers, I’m happy to back him any time his receiving yards prop is this low. In a week that Kelce is likely missing and McKinnon is one of the few trusted receiving options Mahomes has left? Yeah, sign me up for that.

McKinnon has a receiving touchdown in six consecutive regular-season games while recording at least 31 receiving yards in four of his last five contests. He’s chasing Chiefs history and can break off a screen pass at any moment for 20+ yards to his this number.

We know Andy Reid and Mahomes like to target running backs in the red zone, whether through designed plays or improvisation out of structure, so I’m confident that McKinnon will have an opportunity to break through.

His limited involvement in the preseason showed the Chiefs are comfortable with him and I think McKinnon picks up right where he left off last season.
