Kansas City Chiefs: Three things to watch vs Bills in Week 6
How will the offensive line perform?
This season hasn’t been kind to the offensive line. They had decent games against the Texans and Ravens, but their other three games have been rough. To make matters worse, Kelechi Osemele went down with an injury in last Sunday’s game and now it’ll likely be Mike Remmers replacing him.
Remmers has been a journeyman in the NFL and while there are certainly worse options, he’s going to be shaky in this game. The Bills are tied for 18th in the league in sacks and their defense has honestly not been as good as advertised, so that’s good news for this offensive line.
The bad news, however, is that in order to keep the Bills defense from having a breakout game, this unit needs to be better. Patrick Mahomes can’t be getting pressured on every single play if the Chiefs want to win the ball game. Holes need to be opened up for Clyde Edwards-Helaire to run through.
Simply put, the offensive line needs to play like a Super Bowl caliber unit, which is something they haven’t really done this season.
