Fantasy Football Sleepers to Target – Number 2: Zack Moss

player. 16. . Running Back. Buffalo Bills. Zack Moss. 2

Zack Moss reminds me a lot of Cam Akers. Devin Singletary is a player that the Bills supposedly like, similar to the Rams with Darrell Henderson, but they contradicted that narrative with the use of a high draft pick on a running back.

Moss is coming into a situation where a lot of touches, 156 to be exact, are being vacated by Frank Gore‘s departure. Moss will be able to slide in and fill that role immediately, and has a chance to push Singletary to a more pass catching role that is situational.

There are a few reasons why I like Moss over Akers though with his ADP being a big one. Moss is the RB46 right now, which puts him in almost undrafted territory. The cost to acquire Moss is almost nonexistent, whereas you may have pay up a bit to draft Akers.

Another reason I like Moss’ opportunity is I expect the Bills to take a step forward offensively this year. Josh Allen is primed to assert himself as a top quarterback in the league, and the defense of the Bills is going to put them in a lot of situations where running is beneficial.

Moss should see early down and goal line work, and has a chance to take over the backfield by himself. His game reminds me of Kareem Hunt and his ceiling is much higher than the fantasy community is giving him credit for.
