WINNER: WERE THERE ANY WINNERS?

Okay, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones had good games on Sunday. Mahomes threw for over 400 yards and looked to be fine coming off that injury. Jones was very disruptive up front and is making a strong case to get a big pay day this offseason whether it’s from Kansas City or not.

Other than those two, as the last slide indicated, there wasn’t much good in this game. It’s a rarity when I can’t think of more than two good things in a game, but’s the case this week. Now to go drink some bleach.

CONCLUSION

More from Kansas City Chiefs

I’m just going to cut things off here for this week’s edition because talking about this game has aged me terribly. Like I said at the beginning of the article, this is one of those games where you take it, light it on fire, and never speak of it again.

The Chiefs have one more game before their bye week and it’ll come on the road in Mexico City against the Chargers. That game is now an absolute must win because the Raiders are suddenly knocking on the door for first place of the AFC West.

It’s a long season, but after this game, do Chiefs fans really feel confident moving forward this year? Super Bowl contenders don’t lose games like that and the Kansas City Chiefs found a new way to lose a gross game. I’d rather KC have been blown out than to have lost in that fashion.
