LOSER: MECOLE HARDMAN

Okay, this is for one big reason, and that’s the fumble Mecole Hardman had in the very beginning of the third quarter. The Chiefs got the ball to begin the second half and that was big considering Minnesota had gone down the field and tied things up heading into half time.

Well, Hardman took the kick off and ended up fumbling it. The Vikings scored on the ensuing drive. Hardman wasn’t involved in the receiving game either, which is a bit odd, but clearly the Chiefs like using him in a special teams role, as he fielded four kickoffs and two punt returns.

I know Hardman is a rookie, but the guy needs to protect the football better moving forward.

LOSER: OFFENSIVE LINE

I really could leave this entry with five sacks and nine quarterback hits allowed on Matt Moore, but I’ll go into a little more detail. This was an ugly performance by the Chiefs offensive line and this team need Eric Fisher back.

Now, it’s worth noting that Laurent Duvernay-Tardif was also out, meaning the Chiefs were rolling with two backups, but still. Moore had very little time to make anything happen due to the poor protection by the offensive line.

At least they helped with that 91 yard touchdown run, right?
