It was a tough slate of games for the AFC West in week three and only the KC Chiefs persevered and their game was arguably the toughest too. They sit at 3-0 while the other three teams are either 1-2 or 0-3.

It’s still way too early in the season, but the Kansas City Chiefs continue to look like the best of the AFC West three games in. The Raiders got smoked this weekend, the Broncos held their own against a good Packers team, but the offensive line couldn’t keep Flacco upright, and the Chargers blew another game yet again.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are looking to win their fourth straight AFC West title and if this is all the other three teams have to offer, this should be the easiest run to the division title yet for the good guys.

Detroit won’t be an easy game, but the Chiefs should win this one. They’re by far the more talented team, but their defense is still questionable at best.

The Raiders have a tough game in Indy, Denver hosts the Jaguars, and the Chargers have as automatic of a win as you can get against the Dolphins. It’ll be important for the Chiefs to get as much of a lead on their divisional foes as possible.

For now, however, it’s nice to see the Kansas City Chiefs get a big lead in the division already and it’s always great when the Broncos, Chargers, and Raiders all lose. Here’s to hoping for similar results in week four!
