FANTASY FOOTBALL QUARTERBACKS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 5 – DESHAUN WATSON

There have been several mentions in these rankings on how quarterbacks who take off with the football for extra yardage and touchdowns are more valuable than say a Tom Brady and Philip Rivers.

Does that mean they’re better than those guys in real life? No, absolutely not. In fantasy football, however, mobile quarterbacks are well sought after because those are easy points right there and Deshaun Watson falls into that category for sure.

Watson, despite being sacked a whopping 62 times last year, put up solid stats in year two of his pro career. He threw for 4,165 yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions while adding 551 yards and five touchdowns with his legs.

When it comes to mobile quarterbacks, Deshaun Watson might be the best in the entire league. He did get injured as a rookie and missed the rest of that season, but remained healthy in 2018 despite having an atrocious offensive line.

The bad o-line is the main worry because it means Watson is more susceptible to getting injured, but otherwise, he’s a great QB1 option to have.
