Fantasy Football: Top 15 Defenses and Special Teams to Target in 2019

FANTASY FOOTBALL DEFENSES/SPECIAL TEAMS TO TARGET
Number 10 – Denver Broncos
2018 Fantasy Points Ranking: Tied-8th
2018 Points Allowed Ranking: 13th
The Broncos have had a great defense for awhile now, but it does seem like they are slipping down the rankings a little each year though. That will continue this year, as they come in at number ten on this year’s D/ST fantasy rankings.
They finished eighth in D/ST fantasy points last season and it is more likely that number is worse this year than better. There are a bunch of defenses on this list that are improving, but the Broncos defense doesn’t seem to be gaining any ground though really. In the NFL, if you aren’t getting better you’re getting worse.
Another thing that will be tough on the Broncos is that 25 percent of their season will be against two of the top offenses in the league (Chiefs and Chargers), who they will have to face twice each because the just happen to both be in their division.
The Broncos will have a pretty similar defense as last year though, which includes Von Miller, one of the best pass rushers in the league. So, they shouldn’t slide too far in the rankings, but falling to ten is a realistic possibility.
