As you can tell, I have a lot of players repeating or improving from their numbers/performances from last season. I have the Chiefs scoring 72 offensive touchdowns, which is six more than the year before.

I have them improving their yardage total as well, going from 6,810 yards to 7,171 total yards. That total would break the single season total of 7,075 set by the Greatest Show on Turf St. Louis Rams team in 2000.

Ask yourself this: If the KC Chiefs don’t lose Kareem Hunt and Sammy Watkins stays healthy, do they break that record last year anyway? The difference is only that of 16 extra yards per game.

Also consider the Greatest Show on Turf played nearly 20 years ago. Offense has exploded since then, with (a lot) of help from NFL rule changes. Records are falling left and right. This Chiefs unit is going to make a run at history next year.
