ALL-TIME LEADERS IN RECEIVING YARDS FOR NEBRASKA FOOTBALL

NUMBER 2 – KENNY BELL (2,689)

HUSKER WIDE RECEIVER FROM 2011-2014

One of my favorite Huskers ever is Kenny Bell, who played in Lincoln from 2011-2014. Bell was a big time playmaker for Nebraska during his four years as one of their main weapons and finished off his elusive career with 181 receptions for 2,689 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Bell was able to break Johnny Rodgers’ receiving yards record (which he held at the time) by ten yards and also broke the most receptions record as well. He started at least 13 games every year of his career too, which showed how durable he was.

Bell was a really fun player to watch while he was at Nebraska. He went in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft to Tampa Bay, where he spent the 2015 season on the practice squad. He also was on the Ravens and Broncos roster and currently plays for the Salt Lake Stallions of the AAFL.

Kenny Bell was a fantastic player for the University of Nebraska. So, who then passed him on this list? Let’s find out.
