Fantasy Football: 2018 Week 3 Waiver Wire Wednesday

Buffalo Bills running back Chris Ivory

Chris Ivory has yet to get the ball much in Buffalo this season. The reason I have him set to break out over the next couple weeks is the fact that LeSean McCoy fractured his ribs. There has been a discussion that McCoy will try and play through the pain, but this could at least see Ivory getting some significant playing time in the next week or two.

If you are set at running back, this is not a pick worth your time. However, if one of your running backs like Joe Mixon is hurt for a couple of games and you need someone to fill that spot while he’s out, Ivory might be the guy. Another option is if you need a more reliable FLEX option in the next week or so.

Ivory is a versatile back that will be able to catch the ball out of the backfield. About the only thing the Buffalo Bills have going for them on offense right now is the running game. I would still caution this signing as the offensive line has taken some massive hits to injuries, but considering the passing game is nonexistent, it’s worth the signing if you are desperate.
