START ‘EM – TE

Tight End. 49ers. George Kittle. 4. player. 42.

George Kittle is a Start ‘Em option in fantasy football in just the second week of the season… Just like we all predicted, right? I doubt not many casual football fans knew who Kittle was before last week, but he had a nice season opener for the 49ers.

Kittle hauled in five passes for 90 yards and while he didn’t find the end zone, seeing him do that kind of damage against a very good Vikings secondary proves he can be one of the top tight end options this year.

This week, the 49ers face the Detroit Lions, who had a rough start to the season. According to Michael Fabiano of NFL.com, the Lions struggled to stop any plays from slot receivers last week. Kittle had a lot of success in the slot, making him a dangerous option this week.

If Kittle hasn’t been scooped up already, try and add him to your team. This match-up against the Lions is perfect for him.
