START ‘EM – WR

player. 53. . Wide Receiver. Browns. Josh Gordon. 3

Josh Gordon didn’t do much last weekend, but he did find the end zone in the Browns’ first game of the season. Gordon’s role was a bit of a question mark heading into last week, but the Browns would be foolish not to have him out there in full force this weekend as the Browns travel to New Orleans.

The Saints defense looked to be back to 2012-2016 form against the Buccaneers. That makes Browns offensive players good options to start this week (when was the last time we said that?) and Josh Gordon leads that charge.

Bucs receivers had themselves a day against the Saints defense last week, so Gordon will definitely be getting his fair share of targets in the Big Easy. Gordon could be considered a riskier pick this week, considering he saw just three targets, hauling in one of them (which went for a touchdown).

It’ll be interesting to see if the Browns give Gordon more opportunities in week two, but he’s someone that should be in your starting lineup. If nothing else, the Saints defense looked terrible in week one and Gordon has a chance to go off against that bad defense.
