SIT ‘EM

player. 26. . Running Back. Ravens. Alex Collins. 1

Alex Collins was someone I listed in my “Start ‘Em” category last week and he failed to deliver on the hype. Collins notched just 6.9 points in ESPN leagues against the Bills and wasn’t even the lead carrier on the Ravens offense.

Collins had just 13 yards rushing on seven carries on Sunday. Were it not for his touchdown early in the game, he’d have easily been a candidate for Biggest Bust of the weekend in fantasy football. Collins also fumbled and eventually more of his carries went to Kenneth Dixon, who took the football 13 times for 44 yards and a score.

Cincinnati allowed the Colts to rush for just 75 yards off of 22 carries. Their defensive front is one of the best in the league, so it’s very likely that the Ravens won’t have a ton of success running the ball on Thursday.

Collins isn’t someone you should bench if you don’t have a lot of depth obviously, but if you play in a league where there’s just eight people and running backs are still plentiful off the waiver wire, you can (and should) consider sitting Alex Collins this week.
