START ‘EM

Quarterback. Ravens. Joe Flacco. 3. player. 26.

Some might not believe in Joe Flacco even after he tore it up last week against the Bills. While I’m not saying Flacco is an elite quarterback, he’s not a bad option to start in week two against Cincinnati.

Flacco put up 21.7 points in ESPN leagues versus the Colts, after throwing for 236 yards and three touchdowns in his 2018 premiere. Flacco isn’t the quarterback that most fantasy owners will trust week in and week out, but it’s kind of tough to merit benching him after a game like that.

The Bengals have a tough defensive line, but their secondary was exposed by Andrew Luck a week ago. Luck put up good numbers against Cincinnati’s D in the season opener and Flacco, assuming he’s kept upright against a tough defensive front, should be able to pick apart that Bengals secondary.

Oh and it helps that he has Lamar Jackson breathing down his neck. We’ve seen that most quarterbacks play better when their back is against the wall.
