FIVE THINGS TO WATCH VS COLORADO

NUMBER 3 – HUSKER RECEIVER STANDOUTS

Last week I touched on how Nebraska football’s wide receiver situation is interesting. The Huskers have Stanley Morgan Jr. on one side, but mostly newbies on the other side. That’s still the case obviously as the Huskers didn’t get any time to see what their receivers could do.

True freshman Mike Williams was listed as the starter opposite Morgan. JUCO transfer Andre Hunt is right behind Williams for now. Both guys will be looking to make a mark against the Buffs this weekend, so hopefully one emerges as a potential star.

Morgan is a top notch receiver, but defenses know that, so it’s important for other guys to step up to make Martinez’s life a little easier. Seeing which receivers can stand out a little more is big this week because it
