FANTASY FOOTBALL ROOKIES TO TARGET: NUMBER 12 – ANTHONY MILLER

The Chicago Bears knew they had to add to their offensive talent in order to give Mitchell Trubisky a shot to succeed and they did just that this offseason. Adding Anthony Miller in the second round of the draft was a smart move for the Bears, as he’ll instantly become one of Trubisky’s top weapons.

Miller will likely be behind Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel on the depth chart, but that won’t limit his opportunities too much hopefully. This is a guy who had over 1,400 yards receiving in both 2016 and 2017 at Memphis while hauling in double digit touchdowns as well. He had a whopping 18 touchdowns last year!

With Matt Nagy as the head coach in Chicago now, look for the Bears to be moving the ball through the air frequently. That means Miller will have plenty of chances to impress his fantasy owners.

Anthony Miller isn’t a super known name, likely due to attending Memphis over a Power-5 school, but he could end up being the biggest sleeper of the season. Like so many receivers in the league, however, Miller’s success will depend on if Trubisky improves this year. If Trubisky regresses in year two, Miller might be on the waiver wire for a good portion of the season.
