Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette

Leonard Fournette seems to be a running back that is flying under the radar this season. Coming off of a good rookie season with 1,040 yards in only 13 games and another 302 through the air, Fourette looks like a second-year running back that could really take charge in 2018 for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

While Fournette had a few bad games last season, he only missed double-digit points three times out of his 13 games. Consistency was something that Fournette showed last season and should be considered when looking to draft a running back this year for fantasy owners.

Losing 10-15 pounds this offseason, Fournette should be in better shape entering the 2018 season. Considering the Jaguars just extended quarterback Blake Bortles this offseason, they will need a strong running attack if this offense wants to move the ball.

If Fournette can stay healthy for the entire season, he could easily beat his rushing yards from a season ago. It would also give him the opportunity to increase his touchdowns from last season which he had nine. Look for Fournette to be a strong contributor in the red zone. While he’s not the dual threat that you necessarily want in a running back just yet, his goal-line carries could make up for his lack of efficiency in the passing game. Remember, Blake Bortles.
