Fantasy Football Top 10 D/ST

#6 LA Chargers

Is it possible to leave a team off the list if they have guys like Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram? No. The Chargers will be without star corner Jason Verrett for the season, and Corey Liuget will be suspended four games. Still, this defense has enough going for it to be considered a top 10 pick.

Tre Boston is gone, but they replaced him with a younger, supposedly better safety in Derwin James. Casey Heyward and the rest of the Chargers defense returns from last year, which had the Chargers only allowing 272 points, third best in the league.

2017 ranking: 5th

The recent loss to Verrett will hurt, so will the suspension of Liuget, but the Chargers shouldn’t fall from grace defensively.
