Fantasy Football 2017: Thursday Night Football Start Em, Sit Em Week 14
START ‘EM
The reason why the Saints are so dangerous this year is because Drew Brees finally doesn’t have to do it all. The run game and defense have both stepped up big time this year, which also no longer makes Brees a “must start” in fantasy football.
This week, however, he is worth starting. The Falcons gave up 312 yards on offense to the Minnesota Vikings last week, who we all know is 10-2 due to their stout defense. If Case Keenum threw for 227 and two touchdowns against Atlanta, imagine what Brees will do to them.
Last week, Brees threw for 269 yards and a touchdown against a really tough Panthers defense. He should be able to top that performance despite a short week and being on the road in a difficult atmosphere.
The Saints have been able to rely on the run game a lot this season, but never count out Drew Brees to help propel them to greatness when needed.
