Fantasy Football 2017: Thursday Night Football Start Em, Sit Em Week 13
SIT ‘EM
As I mentioned on the last slide, the Cowboys offense is nothing with Ezekiel Elliott. This means don’t rely on any of his backups to get the job done for Dallas or for your fantasy football team.
Both running backs were terrible last week. Rod Smith found the end zone, but only finished the day with nine carries for 41 yards while Alfred Morris totaled nine carries for 36 yards. It was a horrendous outing by the Cowboys backfield and I don’t see it improving much this week.
The Redskins held the Giants running backs to just 84 yards rushing and have been pretty good at stopping the run. If Zeke were playing in this game, I’d obviously be all about starting him, but his backups aren’t even close to providing what Elliott offers.
Keep those Cowboys running backs on the bench this week.
