START ‘EM
Despite giving up a huge game to Philip Rivers on Thanksgiving, the Cowboys defense has its perks for sure. The biggest thing to note is that the Redskins offensive line is atrocious. They allowed Cousins to be sacked six times last week, which bodes well for anyone contemplating playing the Cowboys defense.
The Dallas defense knows it HAS to be the reason the Cowboys win games.
The run game hasn’t hurt the Cowboys either and let’s be honest… Cousins isn’t quite as skilled as Rivers is when it comes to throwing the football. He’s going to throw an interception or two, or fumble the football due to his awful protection upfront.
All of those will result in fantasy points for your team, so yay! I do see the counterpoint of benching the Cowboys D though, as they did give up over 400 yards passing and 28 points to the Los Angeles Chargers last week.
The Redskins likely won’t put up those same numbers and the Dallas defense knows it HAS to be the reason the Cowboys win games. The Cowboys offense is a mess right now and that’s why the defense is going to step up and have a great game on Thursday night.
