Fantasy Football 2017: Thursday Night Football Start Em, Sit Em Week 12
SIT ‘EM
Eli Manning doesn’t have much talent on offense this year, but he’s also just not all that good anymore. He threw for just 205 yards with no touchdowns against the lowly Chiefs defense last week and this week will face the Redskins, who are much tougher.
Okay, so Drew Brees had his way against the Skins defense last week, but Eli Manning isn’t going to do the same. The Redskins are also going to get more pressure on Manning than the Chiefs did, which is going to force him into making bad throws.
By now, not many people are probably running to start Manning every week, which is the right idea. He’s on a bad team and is declining in play. We might be seeing the end of the Eli Manning era in New York and that’s not a fantasy player who you should take a chance on.
