Fantasy Football 2017: Thursday Night Football Start Em, Sit Em Week 10
SIT ‘EM
While I’m not down on Drew Stanton, he’s not good enough to be your QB1 in fantasy football despite being one of the better backup quarterbacks in the league. Stanton threw for just over 200 yards last week with two touchdowns and an interception.
On the year, Stanton is doing okay. He’s completed 45.5% of his passes for 267 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks.
If you have Stanton on your team, it’s likely because you also had Carson Palmer. Hopefully your original backup that you drafted is a better option than Stanton because he’s not a good option this week.
A backup quarterback is a bad play as it is, but throw in that he’s facing the vaunted Legion of Boom and you’re looking at a bad week on the scoreboard. Bench Stanton.
