Fantasy Football 2017: Thursday Night Football Start Em, Sit Em Week 8
SIT ‘EM
Jay Cutler went down with an injury in Miami’s last game and while it’s mean to say this, that might have been what gave them the victory against New York. Matt Moore has always been one of the better backup quarterbacks in the league and he helped lead the Dolphins to a comeback win last week.
With that said, however, don’t jump at starting Moore this week against the Ravens. As mentioned on the Ravens defensive slide earlier, this is a good unit against the pass. For the most part, they have shut down opposing quarterbacks and with Moore being a backup, the odds are stacked against him having a good game.
Moore threw two touchdowns and an interception last week against the Jets in their comeback win. He’s a nice backup to have on your fantasy bench (at least until Cutler comes back), but throwing him in as your QB1 is probably not the best idea.
