START ‘EM

player. 124. . Quarterback. Chiefs. Alex Smith. 1

Alex Smith has been playing brilliantly this season and despite a not great outing last week against the Steelers, he should definitely be your starter this week. If you have a top quarterback and that guy is on a bye or injured (Aaron Rodgers for instance), then Smith is a perfect fill-in option.

Smith has 12 touchdowns this season to ZERO interceptions and has began to run with the football again, making him dangerous. It’s also worth noting that Smith has gone 9-1 against the Raiders in his career with seven of those wins coming as a member of the Chiefs. He plays some of his best football against Oakland.

With a favorable match-up and coming off a week where his team lost, Smith will be looking to prove the naysayers wrong. Look for the Chiefs quarterback to have a big game on Thursday night and put up a solid amount of points for his fantasy owners.
