Week 16 – Chiefs Vs Broncos

Chiefs won 33-10 (My prediction: 17-6, Chiefs)

Well, give me credit here, guys. I not only picked the Chiefs to beat the Broncos, but I picked them to win a primetime game! Go me!

On a rainy Christmas night, the Chiefs gave their fans the best gift of all – Beating up the Broncos and clinching a playoff berth for the second straight season.

While the score looks like a blowout, the Broncos were basically in it until the third quarter or so. Despite the Chiefs putting up 21 points in the first quarter alone, Denver had opportunities to climb back into this thing, but Trevor Siemian couldn’t repeat his dominant performance he had in week 12.

"They’ve let the Donkeys come into Arrowhead Stadium and leave victorious the past four seasons and it’s time for that streak to end."

The Chiefs had not swept the Broncos since the 2000 season, which is crazy to think about how much things have changed since then. The XFL hadn’t been invented yet, the Royals were trash, John Elway had just recently retired, the list goes on.

The most memorable part of this game was Dontari Poe throwing a touchdown pass. He was the heaviest guy to ever toss for a score and that was pretty cool to witness in person.

Here’s to sweeping the Donkeys.

Chiefs: 11-4 (Leigh: 9-6)
