Ugly: D.J. White and Oakland’s first offensive possession

D.J. White got cooked on Sunday. Amari Cooper had ten receptions for 128 yards in the game, and the Raiders were rolling early against the Chiefs on the first drive of the game.

On a day where Derek Carr looked to be able to throw all over the Chiefs secondary (D.J. White in particular), the Raiders somehow only threw the football 34 times.

After that first drive where the Raiders went down the field and scored in a little over three minutes (and only needing seven plays to do so), I think I can speak for most Chiefs fans when I say I thought the game was going to be a shootout.

D.J. White isn’t doing very well in the second cornerback spot, and the Chiefs need to either get him up to speed or find someone else to take over for him. Steven Nelson hasn’t looked awful. Put him in coach.
