The Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers had a field day today. It cannot be overstated that this was a “light” practice and therefore geared more to the success of the offense…but the wide receivers still went just absolutely nuts.
Albert Wilson, especially, seemed to have a strong day as he made his way back onto the field after having missed several practices with a calf strain. Wilson regained his role as a starting wide receiver today and immediately reminded coaches, players, fans, and the media why he had been in that role in the first place.
Tyreek Hill and Demarcus Robinson again had solid days on the practice field as they continued to light up the secondary with deep passes. These two young players are really making their presence felt. They still have some tough battles ahead of them, but at this point it is probably safe to say they are going to make the final roster.
