KC Chiefs news fixates on the 2016 NFL Draft, which is occurring next month.
With the NFL offseason in full swing at the moment, the main thing that Kansas City Chiefs fans are talking about is the NFL Draft. The draft gives teams a chance to bring in young, fresh talent who are exiting college and ready to try their hand at the pros.
The KC Chiefs have been linked to several different guys in the draft, but John Dorsey has shown that he likes to be unpredictable when it comes to who the team will end up selecting in the first round. The last two years, he’s gone with a defensive player, even when the Chiefs really should have beefed up their offense.
With the offensive line and secondary needing some pieces this offseason, it’ll be interesting to see if Dorsey and the Chiefs draft another cornerback in the first round in this year’s draft. It’s an area of need for the KC Chiefs, and we all saw how well the Marcus Peters worked out last year.
Hopefully, the Chiefs can find someone they think can help the team strive and perform at a high level. This appears to be a draft class stacked with defensive ends, so if nothing else, the Chiefs can continue to build on that stellar defense.

If the Chiefs have learned anything from how John Dorsey approaches the draft, he does not necessary draft for position but rather best player available; at least with his first pick. Right now there is a lot of analysts who think the team needs to draft to fill the position of cornerback which the Chiefs are a little thin at right now. But will this be the direction Dorsey will take?
